“Leadership is setting a clear direction and take responsibility for decisions”
In a simple word,
leadership is the process of influencing the activities of an individual or a
group towards the achievement of a set of goals or task in a given time
period. There are multiple definitions
given by eminent social scientists time to time, but if we consolidated all the
definitions we can derive fundamental functions of a leader

leadership style leader takes all decision based on inputs given by each team
members

making process

effective leadership style because in involves lower level staff to senior
level staff in decision making process
@ Under this leadership
style everyone get equal opportunity and voting right to share their views and
opinion in decision making process

inverse of democratic leadership

Laissez – Faire Leadership
Style
@ The French term “ Laisser
– Faire” literally translates to “ Let Them Do” and leaders who embrace it pass
on authority to their employees

empowerment by trusting them to work
@ It can open their self
development opportunities and overlook companies growth opportunities ( common
in europium and American work culture)

, employees might have to start basic set of task and goals that they complete
every week or month
@ The role of the leader is

deadline for achieving them

simple at first , you manager you will assign more challenging goals in future

for precisely the work they do
@ Transactional leadership
helps to establish certain defined roles & responsibilities for each employees and ensure standard outputs

autonomy to employees, only intervene when standard not achieved

and identify the cause of short target achievement and help him out
